Now what would the New Year be without some good old fashioned Honky bashing? I’ll tell you what it would be, absolutely boring. Because half of the imbeciles that open their pie hole long enough to fabricate and blatantly bash someone with the credibility of The Honky Tonk Man usually places their own foot in their mouths, the other half, well the staff here at thehonkytonkman.com like to take care of them.

Recently my attention was directed towards a certain wrestling forum that was bad mouthing Honky. When I noticed how nothing that was mentioned had any facts, I was taken back to the days of Pipernutz, Jim Hall and of course good ol’ Mike Aldren. These people are nothing more than spineless douche bags with a keyboard and no self worth. They spread fallacies and falsehoods for the simple art of getting attention, the same attention that they couldn't draw if they set themselves on fire in the middle of Times Square.

Now because The Honky Tonk Man is a firm believer in FREEDOM OF SPEECH, we do not have any problem whatsoever with someone speaking out with 100% facts. But when stories are conjured up the dollar store way, we take the initiative to speak up and set the record straight. Yes we are a parody site and do shed humor on the current world of wrestling, but that’s something that has been taken out of context one too many times.

Whats the deal with the Honky Tonk Man running his mouth all the time about everything in professional wrestling. I read on another site that he often runs down Jerry Lawler and Ric Flair among others. Who does he think he is? Does he think that his opinion matters? It would be one thing if Steve Austin or Bret Hart made comments about the state of pro wrestling because they were big stars but the fucking Honky Tonk Man? He always claims he is the greateat IC champ of all time but I think he was one of the worst wrestlers of all time. His finisher was a swinging neckbreaker for Christ's sake. He has no room to bad mouth anyone especially people like Ric Flair. Thoughts???


Well for one, he is the GREATEST IC champ of all time and when you show me someone who’s held the belt longer, then you have point to argue, so until then, STFU punk. Now let’s talk about why he bashes Jerry “The Kink” Lawler. Lawler is nothing more than an un-registered sex offender who can’t seem to grasp the concept of age differential or the word statutory. Next your blubbering statement about Honky’s finisher; I guess you think Hogan’s big leg drop was something huh? Or maybe the full nelson? Wait, that Bushwhacker's battering ram was the most brutal finisher of all time!

Looks like you dropped your thesaurus. C’mon man, at least be creative and call him a cheap Elvis rip off. If you are going to bash someone at least give the person you’re insulting the courtesy of being creative.

Did you mean adjourned? Better yet, did you mean Honky TONK Man? Since I already touched on The Kink, let me move on to Jurassic Flair. Well let’s face it, if you have seen one Ric Flair match you have seen them all. He may be 16 time World Champion, but that means that he lost it 15 times. That feat alone makes him “The Official Barry Horowitz” of The World Heavyweight Championship. I wonder how it feels to wear that belt now after David Arquette desecrated it.
