Dippin' Low: A Fan's View
Posted by:

A short time after we posted the "Dippin' Low" Commentaries we received the following email from a fan who had intended to bid on Mr. Warrior's blue belt. We corrected one or two typos and deleted very small portions which did not pertain to the main topic. Otherwise it is printed below without any additions or comments from The HTM Website staff.
"A few hours before his auction for that blue belt ended, I messaged him, telling him that I was an interested buyer-(I was- and probably the only one to boot), and was thinking about it, when I read the description, and noticed how f&%#ing rude he was, when it came to "authenticity".
"I messaged him, telling him how I was thinking about a bid, but after the rudeness, said forget it.
"I also told him, that for $23,500, I needed more than "I am Warrior" to assure me it was for real, and for him to say "You need only know I am telling the truth", or whatever. . . .
"Do you buy a $23,000 house or car on just a description alone, with the buyer saying "trust me?"
"Sounds to me like he's having flashbacks of Jake Robert's angle with him....
"Trust me....
"LOL
"And I noticed now he has a different belt up for auction, and is much more polite on the "authenticity" subject....
"Hmmmm. . . .
"Could a nobody have tamed the mighty Warrior?
"LOL
"Just thought I'd let you guys know about that."
